WELCOME CENTRE STUDENTS!
Chances are at some point in your college career you’ve walked past our building, either on your way to class or back to your dorm, or on your way downtown. We invite you to stop in some time and check out our congregation! There’s a seat waiting for you in the Sanctuary at 10:00am on Sunday mornings (or in the choir loft, if you like to sing). There’s a seat at the dining table at 5:30pm on Wednesday nights for our weekly potluck meal. There’s a seat in one of our discussion groups throughout the week, as well as service opportunities! We host game evenings, events addressing local issues and study space with home-baked goodies during finals week. We also host Centre student groups who need space for meetings, study hall or other organizational events. We are a welcoming and affirming community, a safe place to wrestle with the big questions of identity and vocation that being a college student raises. We love students!
We know you miss your families at times, especially, perhaps, grandparents who offer a listening ear and a hug. There are plenty of folk in our community who can offer both if you can’t get home, so come see us some time!
