Music

at 8:00am on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Music has always been an integral part of worship at The Presbyterian Church of Danville. Although we typically use traditional hymns and songs, we love to add some bluegrass, brass, or even jazz to the mix at times. Everyone has their own preference, but what really matters is that we are truly worshiping and singing in truth of God's word.

SUMMER SPECIAL MUSIC OPPORTUNITIES

With the school year and the Sanctuary and Handbell Choir season concluding this month, plans are currently being made for PresbyDan Summer Special Music. The summer months provide unique, short-term opportunities to bring our musical offerings to the Lord and share our gifts with others at PresbyDan in our Sunday morning worship services.

Vocal and instrumental solos, as well as small and large ensembles featuring music of various styles played and sung by people of all ages are welcomed. The “Summer Choir” (open to all who like to sing) will also meet a few times in the coming months. This ensemble will meet for 15 minutes prior to Sunday morning services to prepare an easy anthem or well-known hymn and then sing during worship. Summer Choir dates will be announced in the coming weeks.
